Dej is starting a great discussion over at Mama Needs A Book Contract about "post-feminism".
Personally, I don't like the term "post-feminism" because I don't want to say I'm past feminism. But at the same time, I now realize that I identify with Feminism. But I'm what you call a Third Wave Feminist.
Basically, the third wave has challenged the belief that there was one way that women thought. One "universal female identity" or that any one person can define feminism for anyone else. And I think that's sort of what the post-feminists believe.
But there's a very small difference (in my opinion). The Post-Feminists want to move past Feminism, where the Third Wave wants to redefine the term. I like that. I like redefining and repurposing the term for myself.
