There are over 5000 homes in my city that are worth over $1 Million.

Homes currently average $361,000 and condos average $252,000. Prices are expected to increase by 10%. Rentals are going for $1 per square foot.

This city is booming and I feel as though I'm left behind. We have chosen a lifestyle for our family that includes me staying at home and working (writing) as much as I can from home. My husband is just training for a new job.

Right now, if were had to move, we'd be stuck in the poorest part of town. That area where you can't even walk outside at night. That is not what I want for my family.

I think this summer will be decision time. Sometime between now and next September we'll have to move. The question is where.
