Call me crazy ...
Or not... but I'm pretty sure Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is simply going to go home and claim that 9/11 didn't actually happen. Because he has not been allowed to see Ground Zero. Do I think he should be allowed?
No, not really. But I question my own reasons. The terrorists were neither Iranian nor Shi'ite. They were Sunnis from Saudi. So am I saying anyone from "over there" should not be allowed at Ground Zero? I don't really know.
Some interesting takes from the blogosphere:
Matt Sanchez: “I’m never surprised by what my school Columbia University will do or say, not even when they’ll invite men like Ahmadinejad to speak but will refuse people like Ann Coulter or members of the United States military.”
Minding the Campus: Who’s too extreme for Columbia? A quotes game.
