30 Hours in 30 Days
I took part in a teleconference yesterday that was quite simple... just a guy talking about his new time management strategy. Still, I was quite impressed. He wasn't just talking about his plan, he was soliciting feedback.

I think I'm going to try it (Starting Sept 1).

Basically you set out 30 hours worth of tasks to complete in 30 days.

What I like about it is that it doesn't interfere with my daily listmaking. And even better, you don't need to replace the tasks, you just complete that list.

Because if I try really hard... I can create a neverending list of tasks to complete....

Third Wave Feminism
Dej is starting a great discussion over at Mama Needs A Book Contract about "post-feminism".

Personally, I don't like the term "post-feminism" because I don't want to say I'm past feminism. But at the same time, I now realize that I identify with Feminism. But I'm what you call a Third Wave Feminist.

Basically, the third wave has challenged the belief that there was one way that women thought. One "universal female identity" or that any one person can define feminism for anyone else. And I think that's sort of what the post-feminists believe.

But there's a very small difference (in my opinion). The Post-Feminists want to move past Feminism, where the Third Wave wants to redefine the term. I like that. I like redefining and repurposing the term for myself.
